The most crucial part of any protein shake is the protein mix that you are using. Not all protein powders are created equal! The nutrition benefits of all of them are vastly different and certain blends mix better than others. Below are brief reviews of different protein powders that I have tried and my thoughts on them.
Optimum Nutrition – ON is my go-to protein powder. 100% Whey Gold Standard is always on my supplement shelf and my personal favorite. The stuff tastes great without being too sweet or filled with empty calories. It blends well with water or milk and can be blended easily in a blender bottle or with heavy stirring.

GNC Amplified Mass – This is my mass gainer of choice. It’s super tasty and can help you pack on the pounds if you are looking to bulk up. I’ve always struggled to put on weight and this really did the trick. I started seeing results almost immediately and recommend to anybody else who struggles to gain mass.
