Caramel treats are the best! Nothing beats the sweet, smooth taste of caramel…especially when paired with chocolate. I tried a few new recipes before coming up with this delicious caramel packed treat.
The best part? This caramel protein shake isn’t full of sugar or calories. In fact, it’s one of the lower calorie dessert protein shake recipes that I’ve come up with.
That means you can use it to ease sugar cravings when cutting or trying to lose weight. You can also use it during the summer or on a cheat day if you are following super strict macros.
This works with either vanilla or chocolate protein powder so make it your own!
Blueberry Protein Shake Recipe
Protein Shake Ingredients
1 1/2 cups of water 1 cup of cooked oats 1/2 of oat bran 1 teaspoon sweetener 1/2 cup of blueberries 1 scoop vanilla protein powderHere’s a video of one of my favorite blueberry protein shake recipes. I’m a huge blueberry fan…I can eat dozens and dozens of them, especially after a workout. They are my favorite fruit to use in protein shakes because they blend easily and taste great. Plus you don’t need a whole ton of them to really add a great fruity taste to your recovery shake.
This particular recipe adds in some oats and it tastes just like blueberry oatmeal or a blueberry muffin. Great for breakfast!

Thin Mint Cookie Protein Shake Recipe
Protein Shake Ingredients
12 ounces skim milk 6 Thin Mint cookies Several ice cubes 2 scoops of chocolate whey protein (cookies and cream is also a good choice)
One of the best times of the year is Girl Scout cookie time! No matter what kind of sweets you crave, there is a Girl Scout cookie flavor that you drool over. Mine has always been Thin Mints. I’ve embarrassingly ate a whole box in one sitting several times in my life. I would do bad things for a box of Thin Mints if I get a craving.
Fortunately, this protein shake recipe can help you recover and bulk up while still downing some of those tasty Thin Mint cookies. I use this when I’m bulking a lot and try to plan it close to a cardio session to make up for the extra calories of the cookies.
It’s good to splurge once in a while though and this recipe will help you get those sweets!

Orange Creamsicle Protein Shake Recipe
Protein Shake Ingredients
4 ounces milk or water Several ice cubes (optional) 2 scoops Vanilla flavored whey protein 1 ounce mandarin oranges 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 teaspoon sweetener (optional)This is one of my favorite protein shakes! It’s great for a sweet treat in the summer or a little pick me up in the middle of winter.
There are tons of variations you can make to this, but the end result should taste just like the orange dreamsicles you probably had as a kid. I prefer to make mine with milk or even add a little vanilla yogurt to make it extra creamy.
Orange creamsicle protein shakes are super easy to make and you probably have all of the ingredients in your kitchen already.
So stop reading and start blending this all together!
