We’re all way too busy. Time is one of the greatest enemies when it comes to working out and getting fit. Between work, family commitments, errands and other hobbies, it’s far too easy to put working out and getting fit on the back burner.

This two-ingredient protein shake recipe can help alleviate some of the clutter in your life. You don’t need to worry about getting adequate protein and healthy carbs with this quick Gatorade protein shake!
When I’m putting in 50 hours at the office every week, I don’t have time to go shopping for elaborate protein shake ingredients. I might only be home at night to sleep. To keep my protein intake adequate, I’ll stop by a gas station, grab an orange Gatorade and combine it with some vanilla protein powder that I have around most days. The result? A simple orange cream protein shake with only two ingredients. I can make it in the car or at the gym with a shaker bottle and I’ve got a great tasting shake full of protein and carbs for energy.
Just combine these two ingredients and shake them up in your shaker bottle or blender. Just because you are on the move doesn’t mean you can’t take in some tasty protein shakes!
Protein Shake Ingredients4 ounces milk or water Several ice cubes (optional) 2 scoops Vanilla flavored whey protein 1 ounce mandarin oranges 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 teaspoon sweetener (optional)
This is one of my favorite protein shakes! It’s great for a sweet treat in the summer or a little pick me up in the middle of winter.
There are tons of variations you can make to this, but the end result should taste just like the orange dreamsicles you probably had as a kid. I prefer to make mine with milk or even add a little vanilla yogurt to make it extra creamy.
Orange creamsicle protein shakes are super easy to make and you probably have all of the ingredients in your kitchen already.
